A new chapter in science and business cooperation

We would like to inform you that the Silesian Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs has signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Silesia in Katowice. The aim of the partnership is to strengthen relations between the academic community and entrepreneurs, to work together to promote innovation, skills development, and knowledge transfer, and to promote entrepreneurship in the region. The agreement was signed by Rector Prof. Tomasz Pietrzykowski, Michał Gawroński, and Dr. Joanna Strzelczyk-Łucka, Prof. AG. The University of Silesia in Katowice was also represented by Prof. Barbara Kożusznik and Dr. Agnieszka Skołucka.

Olaf Flak, Ph.D., led a workshop at the Fundacion Universidad Europea del Atlantico

We are establishing scientific contacts with universities from Europe. Olaf Flak, Ph.D., led a workshop for students at the Fundacion Universidad Europea del Atlantico in Santander, Spain, from 02.11.2024-06.11.2024. The workshop was on management techniques and tools used in small teams to coordinate teamwork: The workshop was attended by 90 students from various fields of study. The workshop was conducted in English. At the same time, we have established cooperation in providing classes for students of Fundacion Universidad Europea del Atlantico in Santander within the framework of Erasmus Plus and other European projects.

Dr. Adrian Pyszka presented a paper at the XII International Conference in the series “Contemporary challenges of project and process management”

Modern organizations have faced the opportunity and at the same time the challenge of creating tools and structures based on virtual work. Therefore, it is necessary to ask ourselves more and more often how to achieve the flow effect in such work, that is, a high level of involvement in the task, at the same time combined with pleasure from the work performed.
