The year 2025 is approaching, and as the Interdisciplinary Center for Personnel Development, we already have plans for next year.
First of all, our goal will be to further develop key competencies of research staff and administrative support staff of the science and higher education sector in Poland, which can contribute to strengthening the position of domestic universities on the international stage. We are conducting research on topics related to the competencies of university employees, the automation of managers and teams, the impact of artificial intelligence on the work of research teams, and the reduction of managerial influence and its relationship to the scientific effectiveness of research teams.
Second, 2025 is the final year of our “Flow and Effectiveness of Virtual Teams” project, which aims to study the factors affecting the effectiveness of virtual teams. Of particular interest to us is the concept of team flow. With the designed tools, we want to capture the dynamics of the processes that occur during teamwork. The project has received funding from NCN and the German DFG in the amount of PLN 894,505 and almost one million Euros under the BEETHOVEN CLASSIC 4 competition.
Third, we will continue to develop cooperation with the universities that make up the prestigious European university Transform4Europe. As part of the Transfer for Europe Reseach and Innovation project. We will identify the challenges faced by research team leaders and support staff. Our efforts are expected to result in the establishment of an Academy of Leadership – a virtual unit that will take the leaders of the research teams of T4EU universities under its care.
